Home Baking Journey||Brave||Empowered {11}

My home baking journey.I still remember the time when I loved baking but never believed in myself. I was full of self-doubt, fear, and confusion. Every day, I asked myself — am I really good enough? At that time, baking was just something that made me happy, not something I thought could become my identity or my future.

This blog is not just about cakes or business. It is about confidence, courage, and choosing yourself even when you feel scared. If you are a beginner, a home baker, or someone who is afraid to start, this story is for you.

My journey started at home,home baking journey

My journey started at home, with a small kitchen and big dreams. I enjoyed baking cakes, trying new recipes, and decorating them with whatever tools I had. But deep inside, I was scared. I used to compare myself with professional bakers on Instagram and think I could never reach that level.

Honestly, I never thought that I would start a baking business. After completing my 12th, I was sitting at home, confused about my future and unsure of what I wanted to do. I had an interest in baking, but I never saw it as a career option.

It was one of my friends who suggested, “You should do something with baking.” At first, I ignored it. But that suggestion stayed in my mind. Slowly, I started thinking — what if I try? That thought became the beginning of everything.

The Beginning — Love for Baking but Fear of Failure{home baking journey}

My journey started in my home kitchen — small space, limited tools, but big dreams. I enjoyed baking cakes, trying new recipes, and decorating them with whatever resources I had.

But fear was always there. I used to compare myself with professional bakers on Instagram and think I could never reach that level. I had zero confidence and was always worried about what people would say.

Many times, I felt like quitting even before starting. Fear of failure almost stopped me.

Learning from the Right People

When I finally decided to take baking seriously, I joined classes with my friend’s sister. She taught me the basics, guided me properly, and helped me understand baking in a professional way.

Along with that, my own sister supported me a lot — emotionally and mentally. Her support gave me strength during times when I doubted myself. Having people who believe in you makes a huge difference.

Taking the First Step — Starting Small{home baking journey}

I started accepting small orders from people I knew. My first few orders were very simple, but my nervousness was at its peak. I checked the cakes again and again, scared of making mistakes.

But when customers smiled and appreciated my work, something changed inside me. That appreciation gave me confidence and motivation to move forward.

I learned one very important lesson: You don’t need perfection to start — you need courage.

Learning, Growing, and Making Mistakes{home baking journey}

My journey was not smooth at all. I made many mistakes — cakes that didn’t rise properly, cream issues, pricing confusion, and time management problems. Sometimes, I felt exhausted and questioned my decisions.

But every mistake taught me something new. I kept learning, improving my skills, and understanding my customers better. I also stepped into digital marketing to build my online presence and reach more people.

Slowly, I started seeing growth — not just in orders, but in my confidence.

Starting My Own Bakery & Believing in Myself

Today, I have started my own bakery — Bakers Gallery. The earning is still very low, honestly bahut kam hai. But I believe that with patience, consistency, and self-belief, things will improve slowly.
